Students had a blast over Spring Break digging into the dirt at River City Youth Foundation. The teens focused on revitalizing and bringing to life one of the gardens on the near 3 acre property. The elementary students explored the world of horticultural science as they hunted for worms, learned about soil, and made gardening arts and crafts. It was an awesome week of learning and having fun!
The list of activities also included:
Making Worm Jars
Creating Terrariums with Mini Ecosystems
Soil Art
Potted Flowers and Art
