The pandemic will not stop River City Youth Foundation from carrying forward with its annual tradition of giving toys to thousands of disadvantaged children in southeast Austin's Dove Springs community.
For four days beginning Wednesday, December 16 and ending Saturday, December 19, RCYF will distribute toys to families who have made their drive-by appointment in advance. Due to limited capacity at the RCYF facility, an application is required to participate and an appointment is required. Pre-registration is currently underway to families that qualify based on need. For more information or to request an application, families can call (512) 440-1111 from 12-4pm Monday through Friday. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 11.
